He earned his BA in Social Science at Biola College (now University), and his MA in Marriage, Family, and Children Counseling from the University of San Francisco. In addition to his formal education, he has been around the block. Life experience is sometimes the best teacher and he has much of that. He has a great deal of experience working with children who are experiencing severe challenges in life through work with non-profit organizations and the foster care system.
